When it rains, it pours 🥺😭

I was determined to write something upbeat and positive this week.
I know I’ve been a bit of a Negative Nellie lately.
Between the articles about banging VR babes and the newsletters about some of the best vibrators on earth, I’ve done a little moping.
And I really don’t want to wallow. So, I was determined to sit down at my keyboard and type up something fun and cheery.
But then life slapped me across the tits.
Last week, Mr. Austin had to deal with an infection that made his gums and face swell up. Which was rough on him, obviously. But also tough for me.
Now it’s my turn.
This week, I’m the one with the messed up mouth.
It’s a tooth ache. Maybe a TMJ flare-up. Probably a combination of both.
Whatever it is, it hurts like a motherfucker. I’d take an actual slap across the tits over this any day of the week.
It’s worse when I smile. It gets aggravated when I talk too much. Eating anything that isn’t soft and mushy is a bad idea.
So, I guess I have to be a Debbie Downer again.
I’m trying to do as little as I can with my mouth until I can get it checked out.
Just ice packs, pain killers, and dicking around on my phone.
And if I’m lucky, I’ll be able to write something a lot more upbeat next week.
