A while back, I recorded a podcast episode about kinks I wish I didn’t have.
And I like most of my sexual quirks.
It’s just that they can be so damn frustrating.
Some of them are just plain impossible.
Like, I really get off on first time experiences. But I’m pretty much done having those, so I’ve had to make peace with that - even though I wish I didn’t have to.
Others are possible, but they’re too risky.
Like having sex in public - that’s a really hot one. But it’s going to have to stay in my daydreams and that’s it.
As tempting as it is, it’s just not worth it.
It used to be, though.
At least, I acted like it was.
Because I’ve been thinking back on the first years I was having sex and how often I got caught in the act. And it depends on what you count as getting caught, but it happened four or five times.
Which is probably more than most people.
Like, I imagine a lot of people have been caught fucking once. Possibly twice. But I’m sure the average is closer to zero.
Most people have the good sense to fuck behind a locked door, with the curtains closed.
But my horny little 19 year old brain wasn’t satisfied with that. I had to go and fuck in the woods, on the side of the road, and on board a moving train.
I got away with it for the most part. Not always, though.
And that’s the thing with a kink. A lot of them will get you in trouble if you’re not careful.
Because for whatever reason, a lot of us are wired to get turned on by risky sex.
It’s why pretty much every woman fantasizes about getting creampied - even if she absolutely does not fantasize about the consequences that come with it.
It’s why so many people find sex super hot when it’s just a little bit wrong. Porn sites wouldn’t be full of stepsisters if we didn’t.
It’s also a big reason I was so drawn to fucking outdoors - even though I’d be mortified if I got in trouble for it.
But getting caught didn’t even stop me.
Getting old did.
Because at a certain age, fucking like rabbits on a walking trail isn’t cute anymore. At that point, it’s just an arrestable offense.
I got a lot more responsibilities, too. Moms can 100% be sexual and kinky - but it’s best to avoid doing things that will get you shunned at the playground.
And I’m just not as hormonal anymore. Well, not in the fun way.
So, now it’s all safe sex for me - and really risky fantasies.
Which is fine. I’ll stay on the straight and narrow. It’s the mature thing to do.
But damn, do I ever miss the thrill.
