Years ago, I took photography classes as a hobby. I had no idea that they would eventually pay off.
Mostly, I took photos of my kids and other mom stuff. Birthday cakes. Party decorations. Once in a while, I’d spot some really pretty flowers and take photos of them.
That was it.
Until I started blogging about sex. Then, I put what I had learned to the test to take photos of sex toys and other products I review or just play around with.
But I was really grateful for them when I started taking nudes.
I’m late to the nude selfie game. I have a lot of issues with my self-esteem, my body image, and my confidence. The last thing I wanted to do is show too much of myself.
That started changing the day I was getting ready for a shower.
I unbuttoned my plaid shirt and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
I had a thought I almost never have.
“Wow, my tits look great!”
So great I wanted to take a picture to capture that moment.
That led to my first real naked selfie. It wasn’t even all that revealing. Just some sideboob showing through my open shirt. But it was enough to show me how much fun it can be to take nudes.
I’ve taken more since then, and exposed more of myself in them. And it really helped my confidence. It helped me feel better about my body, and sexier knowing that I can look good even if it’s only at some angles.
I finally had another reason to use all those photography skills I had picked up in the past.
This week, I wanted to share all my best tips for taking amazing nudes - even if you don’t love your body.
