A better way to work through my daddy issues? 😳😅

I started therapy a week before Pornhub Insights released their 2023 Year in Review.
Bear with me here, I promise those two things are related.
Considering all the time I spend on the strugglebus, I probably should’ve started therapy way earlier. But the funny thing about having chronic anxiety is that it’ll keep you from actually seeking help.
Because sharing your deepest, darkest insecurities with a total stranger is the kind of thing you can do after your brain is fixed, not before.
I do feel like I’ve made a lot of progress on my own. I really prefer to DIY everything if I can - knitting my own scarves, glue gunning my own bedroom decor, fixing myself emotionally.
I’m not sure I can get all the way there on my own, though. So, I decided it was time to actually talk to someone about the cluttered mess inside my brain.
And my doctor seems reluctant to increase my meds unless I’m talking about my issues with a professional, so there’s that.
So, I did it. I took some first steps.
Baby steps, I guess. It’s text therapy, which is really all I felt I could handle at this point.
And I can’t really tell how it’s going so far.
We’ve talked about how all my issues seem to be traced back to my dad, but I knew that already.
My therapist gave me exercises that feel very similar to things I’ve done before, because I’m a mental health DIY queen. But I’m giving them a shot anyway.
Mostly, I have no idea if it’s helping because I’m trying to overcome my anxieties - and every damn step of this process is giving me major anxiety.
Which is why I keep thinking about Pornhub Insights.
A good chunk of the 2023 report was fairly predictable.
You all love MILFs, juicy butts, and girl on girl action - and rightly so.
The ladies are still watching rough sex and gangbangs more than the guys are. No surprises there.
Hentai is as huge as ever and everyone’s still beating it to Harley Quinn.
But then I went to look at the Canadian stats to see what my neighbors are perving out to.
And well, just look at it.

But therapy porn?
I’m over here riding a roller coaster of nerves because of my therapy sessions - and I don’t even have to look my therapist in the eyes. After going through that, therapy roleplay sounds like the least sexy thing imaginable.
Meanwhile a bunch of horndogs in my city are probably actively searching “therapist big tits bossy” as I’m typing this.
I sort of get it, though. I’m not the only one with daddy issues, and maybe therapy porn is just one more way to work through those.
But I don’t need to give myself any more anxiety. So I’ll keep looking for redheads with big asses instead.
Because the jury’s still out on whether therapy can heal me. But a girl like that definitely could.
